Abstract

Photocatalyst for wastewater purification was prepared by using TiO2 as a photocatalyst and MWCNT as an electron transferring additive. Polymer nanocomposite was prepared by dispersing the photocatalyst in the hydrogel consisting of hydrophilic poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and pH-responsive polyacrylamide (PAM). Characteristics of PVA/PAM/ TiO2/MWCNT nanocomposite were investigated by SEM, XRD, FTIR, and UV spectrometer. Electron transferring effect of MWCNT played an important role in the significant improvement of photocatalytic decomposition of organic dye by PVA/PAM/TiO2/MWCNT nanocomposite.


TiO2를 광촉매로 사용하고 다중벽 탄소나노튜브(MWCNT)를 전자전달체로 사용하여 폐수정화용 광촉매를 구성하였다. 이를 친수성 폴리비닐알코올(PVA) 및 pH 감응성 폴리아크릴아미드(PAM)로 구성된 하이드로젤에 분산시켜 고분자 나노컴포지트를 제조하였다. PVA/PAM/TiO2/MWCNT 나노컴포지트의 특성을 SEM, XRD, FTIR 및 UV분광분석기를 사용하여 조사하였다. PVA/PAM/TiO2/MWCNT 나노컴포지트에 있어서 MWCNT의 전자전달 효과로 인하여 유기 염료에 대한 광촉매 분해 특성이 현저히 향상되었다.
