Abstract
The reaction of methyl methacrylate-methacrylic acid(MMA-MAA) copolymer with glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) in the presence of triethylbenzyl ammonium chloride as catalyst has been studied and compared with that of methyl methacrylate-glycidyl methacrylate(MMA-GMA) copolymer with methacrylic acid(MAA). It was found that the addition reaction of MMA-MAA copolymer with GMA was in good agreement with second-order kinetics. The plausible reaction mechanism was presented on the basis of experimental data obtained.

염화 벤질 트리에틸 암모늄 촉매 존재하에 메타크릴산 메틸-메타크릴산(MMA-MAA) 혼성중합체와 메타크릴산 글리시딜(GMA)의 반응에 대하여 검토하고 메타크릴산 메틸-메타크릴산 글리시딜(MMA-GMA) 혼성 중합체와 메타크릴산(MAA)의 반응과 비교하였다. MMA-MAA 혼성중합체와 GMA의 부가반응에서는 2차, MMA-GMA 혼성 중합체와 MMA의 반응은 1차 속도식에 따른다. 얻어진 데이타를 기초로 하여 가능한 반응 기구를 제시하였다.
